Modesto, CA - The Almond Board of California has selected Porter Novelli as the agency of record to handle its international public relations programs in Western Europe. This review was the result of a three-month long process considering 9 agencies. The Board periodically conducts reviews to ensure fiscal responsibility and accountability.

"Porter Novelli's expertise with influencer marketing is key to the Board's international communications in the UK, Germany, France and other Western European markets," said Richard Waycott, President and CEO of Almond Board of California.

"I am particularly excited as this is one of those communications programs where the link between our public relations achievements and the Almond Board's commercial success will be inextricably linked," said Keith Taylor, Director Countrywide Porter Novelli in London. "The appointment is a great reflection on Porter Novelli's Food Practice, which draws heavily on our
specialist healthcare and consumer expertise."

Porter Novelli will begin work with ABC August 1. The expected annual budget is approximately $880 thousand.
